Sohrab remarks: Modi responds to EC notice
by balajee ks on Dec 09, 2007 10:48 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Okay, what if Mody makes such remarks after getting elected? Will Election commission or any other authority take notice of the same? Is there any mechanism? Sometime back a sitting Muslim MP from UP demanded the head of a Hindu leader or Muslim sitting MLA of AP attacking a writer or TN CM attacked Hindu God and sown the seeds of religious hatred and intolerance or J&K CM asking the Judges to be careful in writing death sentence for a Muslim extremist in Parliament attack case and such umpteen number of statements are made everyday. Note the point: all such vitriolic and incendiary statements came from the elected representatives. If they set such examples, no wonder their political supporters will follow the same path. This would only endanger fragile peace existing in the country. India is sitting on a volcano of religious conflict and hatred. Given the chance it may erupt at any point of time and take away the lives of millions of people, whether Muslims, Christians,Hindus, Sikhs or any other. Political class may escape because of the protection and security cover they enjoy at the state cost. Only common man will bear the brunt. Violence and destruction like Tsunami do not know religion. Tsunami is a natural disaster and Violence is man-made. I request people of all religions or political class to just ponder over this, observe 2 minutes silence for all that happened sofar, eschew violence hereafter and make this earth worth living for all- K.S.Balajee, Polit

Due to large scale martyrdom and shortage of virgins, allah has reduced number from 72 to 4 only. This message is not distributed from their holy places yet due to lack of modern communication system. By the way going through Koran I see mention of virgins but no clarification about man or women / young or old. can some one clarify this issue.
