All muslims of India are Hindus. And converted to Islam by force and after lots of suffering. Are Indian muslim proud of Islam, because of which their forefathers suffered for years.

Good question Kamal Puttar. But the answer is pathetic. There is no doubt that Muslim rulers used force and 'lalach' for converting Hindus to dirty Islam but with in Hindu religion, Brhamins are equally responsible for keeping these unfortunate converted people away from Hinduism. Till today the storry is the same. You reform Hinduism, see how these muslims cames back. After all they are tired with that irrational religion.

These are the reasons for many becoming muslim 1. In Kashmir it was forced conversion by Sikandar butshikan. Kashmir was a big hindu center till 11-12 AD 2. PLaces like NWFP, northern areas, Baluchisthan were never hindu, they were buddhist and conversion happened because buddhism lost its sheen, and some how people were disillusioned because of that 3. Punjab and Sindh, both forced conversion and also opportunism, many converted to islam, because of political reasons and economic reasons 4. East bengal, due to casteism, and also the people of Ganges delta were never considered as hindus by the upper castes.

Prakash Bapu! That is a correct analysis.However I do feel that 'Responsibility on Brahmins'seems to be far fetched.This was used by anti Bharat forces as a means to convert people by force,or 'lalach'of money,land etc.
