All this maanaadu will do is ......waste a lot of precious electricity.... At a time when nearby districts are all suffering from powercuts...is this an act of a responsible political party???? I feel sad at the total irresponsibility ...

this type of tamasha will go on until the mniddle class becomes mjority, and literacy is more than 95% of the population. DMK alone is not he culprit, the INC, CPI M snd Jayalatha's AIADMMK are also eqully reponsible for such events.

Any idea how much power will be consumed and how much will be paid for. Political parties paying for using public property? You must be joking! Besides who pays for the use of all that security and other infrastructure?

Public parties don't pay, all this money is paid by the government. All the cost of the ruling party celebrations, birthdays etc is paid by the public.
