just what the country needs

yeah, the average pakistani will be better off trying to learn to read and write with night vision goggles.
At least they could SAY that they want them back.
Pakis are the smartest negotiators on the planet. When will we learn ?

I hope reading and looking in night using night-goggle is not against Islam. Otherwise the Pakistani Mullah will bar each Pakistanis from using it.

Pakistan is a Independent country therefore they have developed the skill of negotiation and surprisingly they are sucking the MILK out of the same USA Cow for decades. Boy, these Pakis are Smart.
About India - they will learn the negotiation skill once they ate free from the mentality of slavery.
Jai Sonia Mata ki. Hum to Aap Ke Ghulam Hai.
WHAT A PATHETIC Independece!

:)

There is an alternative, though.US can save its money.

USA should let Pakistan extricate itself from supporting the US war in Afghanistan, the reactionary extremism and terrorism in Pakistan would die and USA would not have to pay anything.

Pakistan has suffered thousands times more in men and material, than USA did as a result of and since 9/11.

One cannot build a country by getting aides. One does not get rich by asking for alms.
Pakistan can get far ahead economically on its own,if Pakistan had peace and security.Pakistan would not be pre-occupied in setting aside its time and meagre resources in fighting an unintended war within its borders.

Pakistan is losing a lot more than what it is getting, inspite of all the bargaining or negotiating skills.

Pakistan did not ask for this war.It was USA which dragged Pakistan into this hasty, ill conceived war.

Invading an independent country to control handful of exttremists was not such a great idea to begin with.

The US is just paying the price for its folly.

I personally believe that Pakistan should tell USA to keep its aide and let Pakistan get out of this quigmire, otherwise 50 years from now , Pakistan will be still fighting this curse.

Mr jahan mir,
do u think mushy doesnt know all this,
he has the same feudal lord mentality, even india had this problem few decades back,
right from Haq to Mushy, they allowed extremism to florish to disturb india, on the other side they sent their sons to US to study and settle,
a tipical landlord mentality, we can see these type of leaders few decades back in rural india.

Blaming the US for the problems is like blaming your parents (or whoever paid for college) for the way you turned out.
It is true. But it does not provide a useful solution.

The US used Zia to pump more fundamentalism in Pakistan to use against the Soviets (no different than the Brits using desi troops to fight the independence movement. Desis everywhere are the same.)

It is true that the same fundamentalism has come to hurt the US. But Zia used that so called Jehad to screw India and Afghanistan after the US left and in the process screwed Pakistan also. That was NOT the US choice.

Pakistan should use this opportunity to destroy Zia's legacy and become a secular state.
Unfortunately, with weapons of this type provided, they will just make the army stronger, give them the means to attack India and distract Pakistanis from the real problems.

This money is drop in the bucket what US has lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If Pakistan does not become embroiled in extremism, terrorism, its a money well spent.US will reap big dividents in future. Afterall,Pakistan is a virtual 51st State of USA.

An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
