Definition of 'successful' test
by aesthetic guy on Dec 06, 2007 01:11 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

DRDO's definition of 'success' is pretty different. For missile testing it means: 'it took off, who cares what happened after wards. Anyway it is the public money that is being blasted off!!'.

That is a very uncharitable comment. You have no idea as to how our scientists work given the rather limited monetary resources.

Granted that not every project has been an outstanding success. But then, most of the projects have been indigenous and self-started.

Please reserve a word of praise or two for your fellow countrymen. But feel free to lam blast the politicians at every possible opportunity!
