Let us get this straight

The left is opposing this deal only on ideological grounds - the left is anti US. They are not opposing because the deal could harm India's long term interest.Their decision is not based on what is good or bad for India. So in short comies are selfish towards their ideology even at the cost of India's benefit.
The lalus and Pawars and other in the coalition are not with Manmohansingh because they do not have the guts to face an election now ( in case commies pull the govt down). These coalition partners are selfish too like commies- selfish and greedy for power. Certainly India's interests are not included in their decision making process ( I am neither saying nuclear deal is beneficial for India nor I am against it for the reason that I do not know exact implication of this deal - some of which would become clear only after it is and if it is implemented). I am more concerned about the decision making process of the coalition partners in UPA. None of them have India's interest in mind - though they are taking great pains to make it seem as if they have only India's interest on mind. As for BJP - their opinion and stand does not matter..

You are absolutely right Attatar Yena. This is our history and this what we we Indians doing for last 1000 years and this is what we are going to do for next 100 years. Just to grab power and rule for sometime by any MEANS.Vision and National concept are fancy things borrowed from west. Earlier it was Rajas & Sultans; now politician & thier Political parties. Ideology is just a differentiating brand element for them. The end goal is same, to grab and enjoy POWER for silly personal gains.
