Dear Poolu, Though i dont buy the ideology of communism, I dont find any fault with chavez donating for improving the facilities of a school. Needless to say that many children will benefit from this effort. Only worrying thing is how much of it would really go into the objective - in indian context.

This is of of the irony in India: The Ambani brothers are featuring in the list of richest men of the world, where their country men are commiting suicide out of hunger and poverty. This is because we are all capitalist by nature. Instead of criticising others, we can take some initiative ourselves for the betterment of the coutry and its people.

Here you are, You feel sensex is the scale of progress, whereas actually it is the reverse..at least for the vast majority
Nobody begged from anyone. When Chavez visited India, he offered to build a school in the memory of a Bolivian hero. India also has schools in foreign countries in Gandhi's name, Russians have institutes in Gorky's name & so on. When you become the leader of India, may be you can visit Bolivia & build a school in Godse's name. The Bolivians surely won't mind.
