This is a welcome development, if it is true. For too long, Andhra Pradesh has suffered the increasing divide between the affluent and the have-nots. With a person of Chiranjeevi's stature entering politics, he is sure to bring about a balance between all strata of society and make a better living for those who have been marginalised. Sure he is new to politics, but then who is the past has not been new to politics? What are required are a hands-on approach to address social and industrial issues and the political will to take bold steps towards prosperity.
