negative Side It displayed the readiness of political parties to accept any shit beside them to grab power.
Positive look it also displayed the tolerence to unite with each other against a common enemey inspite of difference in thoughts. (We indians should look into this positive aspect and learn from it to unite against outside forces acting against Indias interest)
