There is no law prohibiting such candidates from contesting unless they are sentenced to not less than 3 years in jail. This is the system and type of democracy prevailing in India and the father of democracy Abraham Lincoln may be turning in his grave seeing the fate of democracy once he cherished. The entire cabinet of Modi can be painted black for its involvement in the post Godra riots in the much publicised Tehelka exposure. Shameless politicians instead of rendering apology to the nation still roaming in the street of Gujarat seeking re-election. The BJP has been exposed of its wrong doings with such kind of people like Modi associated with them. Many in BJP realised this and left the party. The rebels are playing the spoil sports for the BJP and the Modi. Keshubhai Patel, no friend of Modi, has sent in his compilation of speeches against Modi for use in the campaign of ouster of Modi. The advertisement recently came in the local papers, speaks volume of the amount of dissidents activities in the BJP Camp. The central leadership of BJP is helpless as they are banking on this infamous man called Modi. Congress is growing strong with full support from muslims of Gujarat and its allies will emerge as the single block to form the next govt in Gujarat. The first task is to bring to books all responsible for riots, first being Modi and other MLAs.

Shameless creature, why do you drag religion in the discussion. If you any points to counter my article, write but do not indulge in such filthy way of expressing your anger or anguish at the truth told in its naked manifestation about Modi and BJP in Gujarat. People like Modi and BJP and like you are in defensive unable to come out with any other defence than attacking on the religion of the writer. Such stupidity will have no bearing on the strong character of the writer. As long as people like Modi continue in politics, people like the writer will continue to expose the misdeeds of such persons so that people realise their folly in electing him to mirule Gujarat and bring shame to the state as well as nation in the comity of nations. India bowed its head in shame in the post-godra riots due this infamous Modi and his cohots. Realise this now and apoligise to the nation that they were responsible for bringing the nation to shame. Luxemberg like trial is needed for people like Modi for crime against humanity. This is will be achieved, if Congress is voted back to power and people have realised this and they will soon vote Congress to power. Wait and watch, the results are already out and Gujarat will have its new Chief Minister who will do the act of cleansing Gujarat of the past misdeeds perpetuated by Modi and his MLAs who were exposed by the Tehelk. Modi should resign immediately and tender unconditional apology to the nation for crime against humanity and retire.

RIOT IS NOT A NEW THING FOR U MUSLIMS. THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT HINDUS ARE BEING KILLED IN KASHMIR AND OTHER PARTS. WHAT ARE U DOING ALL THESE TIMES. U ARE CRYING FOR ONE INCIDENT IN GUJARAT WHEREAS MUSLIMS FANATICS KILLING INNOCENTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

Shameless people like when you nothing to defend attack the religion of the writer. You are such naive about history. India and muslims have faced hundreds of riots after partition where thousands of muslims were killed properties damaged. Where were you fellows when all these things were happening against muslims in India and now crying wolf about what is happening in the world. The whole world has realised the potential danger of attempt at attack or capture any muslim country. The whole world under the grip of extremists. Its their own creation. People were minding there business in West Asia, but by brutal attack on Afghanistan, Palestine, and Iraq, they have awaken the sleeping giant in muslim world. Now US is repenting for its role in Iraq and embroiled UK is unable to escape as all escape routes have been sealed in Iraq and Afghan. Iraq will be the grave yard of US and its allies like Palestine is grave yard of jews. Indians have soon realised and Government at the Centre under the able leadership of Manmohan Singh has done and is doing every thing to bring the muslims into the mainstream of the national life. It has encouraged muslim youth through so many laudable scheme. It is the best way of helping the community whose youth is taking the path of extremism and they should be dissuaded by offering them employment and other opportunities which the Centre and State Governments in South are doing. North should also take a leaf out of Tamilnadu, do what is due to them.

Hey man dont say only muslim is killing innocent: If you count the no muslims are being killed is moch more than other ppls. i dont blame modi for the gujrat riot may be its reflection of what muslim did in godhara.. But tehre are many instances where muslim is killed for no reason: like bhagalpur riot, ranchi riot, jamshedpur riot,mumbai riot, sikh killing in delhi.. Now take the example of iraq. America forcefully annex the iraq millions of ppls died.. who kill them ?? Now u say muslim is killing.. no only muslims are being killed.. One more thing one crime never justyfy another.
