Indian media is slave of their Western counterpart
by Modi Sena on Dec 02, 2007 10:47 PM   Permalink

Indian media likes to lick their masters' (Western media) shoes. They have coined and popularize the stupid term- 'Bollywood'. Before writing any thing, they look at whether it matches the tastes of their masters. Indian media should see the impact of religion in Western media and Western politics. How many times in a year you see the front covers of magazines like Time talking about various Christian specific religious issues? How many times the faith come into discussion in political debates in the U.S. Two major issues: Gay wedding and abortion, in the U.S. politics are religious issues. Two other major issues: US/Iraq war, terrorism are indirectly related to the religion. Here, these political parties are known as 'liberals' and 'conservatives'. In India our media calls them 'secular' and 'communal' or 'Hindu nationalist'. Grow up media.
