Mochi is an occupation and not a caste, is it not? May be I am wrong but the lines in that song are talking about occupations rather than castes. It is more like "A Janitor calling himself CEO". Shameless politicians!

Solution to avoid your movie getting banned..minimize dialogue in the movie - let the main characters talk in monologues like 'yes', 'no', 'hmmm' etc. so that they don't inadvertently say something to offend x, y or Z community. Let there be no songs whatsoever, let the heroines dress from head to toe, else the moral police will attack..let the story be just boy meets girl, falls in love, gets married..any imaginative story might well offend a,b or c community..don't show religion, politics, gods, or anything remotely controversial in society...if all else fails, let Indian movie producers make only cartoons (without showing animals) or PETA will get offended..

Don't show plants as well as that may offend the 'environment' campaigners. For the same reason, don't show the earth and the sky as well. . Don't show any villains as the real community of the filmy villain may get offended.

Guess a very good idea for Indian movie producers would be to target the NRI market alone. At least no one will jump in to ban your movie at the drop of a hat. There are a sizeable number of NRIs who would happily watch Hindi or Tamil moviews..why release them in India for the consumption of such hopeless audiences? Indian audiences deserve only National Geographic or UGC documentaries. Anything else is bound to offend someone or the other. A society that shows such low levels of tolerance is a society that is just a few steps away from totalitarianism. Tomorrow it will be your turn to get muzzled. Those who are protesting should realise that.
