They take

The periyar movie, and so many movies picture brahmins as bad guys and have been doing for the past 6 decades without any problem. I agree with Mayavati that any thing that bothers any caste should be banned. Then most of the telugu and tamil movies have scenes blatantly derogating brahmins. Belive me Brahmins did not do any thing that bad, without them we would have been Somali tribes and with mother father. I think brahmins also should react to the nonsense that goes on. The caste is adhered to very well by every one who criticize others. The jerk who took peiyar movie syas in 1907 99% of the gazeted officers were Brahmins and so we can screw them now. In 1907 British did not reserve these positions nor did they make reservations in schools and colleges. Who ever wanted to go it was fine. Whole state of Andhra had one or two lawyers. We all worked for British, what eve job he gave and what name he called the job by. I know some of the DK nincumpoops will write letters justifying discrimination-they should be banned from India. Mayavati is right and if such actions are not taken, insults will go on, however small or big.

I agree. The present CM of TamilNadu, is always calling a certain caste as Aryans and Parpans, even though he and his own children look fair skinned, speak Hindi . As far as the Periyar movie, in 1907, the high presence of bramins in govt jobs was because only bramins took up to higher education and learning english while other castes did not take up to english learning. This was an aberration for 50 years or so and got corrected even during kamaraj rule. Today, 90% of wealth and power in TN is held by OBCs and OBC leaders discriminate against Dalits.

Remember that atleast in South India/TN, OBCs were the kings, landlords etc, and bramins were just living a marginal existence, except for the 50-100 years of British rule and anyway that is all long gone, it is time for OBCs to give importance and improve lot of Dalits in the state. We have a Dalit CM in UP , but there is no Dalit CM in TN. Why?
