Satya Yuga (also called Krita Yuga) This first age is 1,728,000 human years. Also known as the Golden Age or age of Truth. The qualities of this age are: virtue reigns supreme; human stature is 21 cubits; lifespan is a lakh of years, and death occurs only when willed.
Treta Yuga This second age is 1,296,000 human years. Also known as the Silver Age. The qualities of this age are: the climate is three quarters virtue and one quarter sin; human stature is 14 cubits; lifespan is 10,000 years.
Dvapara Yuga This third age is 864,000 human years. Also known as the Bronze Age. The qualities of this age are: the climate is one half virtue and one half sin; lifespan is 1,000 years.
Kali Yuga The fourth and last age is 432,000 human years. Also known as the Iron Age. This is the age in which we are presently living. The qualities of this age are: the climate is one quarter virtue and three quarters sin; human stature is 3.5 cubits; lifespan is 100 or 120 years.
We have completed 5200 years in Kali yug
Age of Brahma - 7 Times the above Yuga Cycle = 12 Hrs of Brahma
We are in the day time 12 hrs of Brahma. There will be no life during the night time 12 hrs of Brahma - "Pralaya". Veda and all the Atman rests back in Mahavishnu until the day of Brahma arrives. On the dawn all the Atman and the Vedas are planted back onto various planets as per their 'Karma'.
Ok, some one asked me earlier what is the significance of the 'Metals' there, were they discovered during that age ....
Ans is NO, it just signifies how the degradation of human intellect occurs as the ages pass. We dont need a proof for our age here, as we see quite a few IRONICAL folks around with IRONICAL messages.

The life span is 100 - 120 years in KaliYug! Did your ancestors live that many years? Then why is that the life expectancy of Indians is only 67? Did Brahma do some mathematical errors? Probably he is not aware of Calculators!

One of the biggest problem in the country today is to justify anything saying that our ancestors/scriptures have already discovred whatever science has done at present. The examples are endless- Vedic maths, Aeroplane in Ramayana, Atom bomb in Mahabharatha etc. If you have that kind of mentality, what new things could be discovered by Indians? Did ever India dominate the world either with the ideas or actions? Don't say that we never wanted to dothat.( sour grapes!)In that case why should we want become a Super Power now with borrowed Fighter Planes and Warships?

The biggest problem of Dravidian politics is the universe must around 2000BCE. How can dravidian politics keep itself in a shell and think betond it ?
Also the Goal of Scriptures is not WORLD DOMINATION with MONEY and WEAPONS .... the GOAL is SPIRITUAL, which we have already COMPROMISED WITH.
What will you do with such research?
Medical research - extend human expiry date by few more hrs?
Chemical research - Make more Bombs to commit EASY SUICIDE !
Economical progress - More money, more power, more THIEVS, more FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE, MORE DIVORCE ???
People are simply following others just like a BUNCH of SHEEPS, nobody wants to know ultimately what is all this so called progress yielding and at what cost !!
