Kashmir is the first state in India with almost all population above poverty line. Yet thsy demand separating from India. Religion and only religion is, was and would be the cause for separatism- That should be a wake up call for rest of India. See the Old Hyderababd with its Muslim majority is going Kashmir's way. Soon to follow such cities as Agra

U see, i don understand why Indian public has such a gross confusion about kashmir The media is confused so are the leaders U wont talk that if u knew our history We feel we've been cheated by both India & Pakistan We want peace we don want troops following our shadows wherever we go neither wud U It is hell over here & who's responsible?

everything is fine, i just want to know as a standalone country will kashmir be able to survive on its economy. definately they have to be either under pakistan or india at least for their military support. if they will take pakistani route their ecotourism will be ruined.
will kashmiri economy be ready to take this challange?

Mr.Alone, you seem to be a good & reasonable person. But such good persons are held at gunpoint by the terrorists produced across the border. What happened to the likes of Mirwaiz Maulawi Farooq and Sajjad Lone? The moment they started saying wise things, they were eliminated. So India is in an endless engagement of killing terrorists produced abroad. I am afraid, unless, like Germany's unification, India and Pakistan become one, this will continue and so the army will continue to stay. Hence, I don't think anybody cheated you. You people are cheating yourselves, submitting to terrorists without giving a fight. Indian army is there because you can't do what you should do. So instead of asking India to take out their troops, why just you don't tell Pakistanis to dismantle terrorist camps and network? You can't because they will hold you at gunpoint unlike India, which is always defensive.
