When the USA offered
by Buggs Bunney on Aug 30, 2007 08:46 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

a permanant U.N seat to the Republic of India and alliance in 1950s, it was turned down by the old P.M. Nehroo who went for an alliance with the Soviet Union and later signed an 12345 point agreement with the P.R. of China resulting in lots of territory snatched and a growth rate of just 1.2% and over 50% poverty level.

This is the 2nd time the USA is offering an alliance and there WONT be a 3rd time.

You only have the politicians to blame.

just because the chinaman rebrands IBM to "lenovo", doesn't mean that it becomes pong-wong automatically !

chinese are just nike shoe factory workers, without america/european/japanes/korean investment and technology, they are nothing.

America really does not need anywone with such a mighty alliance like NATO and the USA-Japanese-Taiwanese-Korean pact.

nope, this is the last.....Mr. G.W. Bush is very favorable to this deal as well as the current Congress & Senate, there wont be another one like this time, ever.

There would be hndren such offers u r right bt that would be ina span of a thousand years. so u want India to be poor for another thousand years.. In the 1950' US offerend India technological ad political support to be a great power including UN security council permanent seat and Nehru gave to china citing China as a nation far greater than India and in return china stabbed im in the back and took away a part of kashmir. Amazing hw people neva learn. Today the commies are doin the same, givin away Indian opportunities for the sake of china.
