BJP and its flip flop
by Loan Shark on Aug 31, 2007 05:42 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

When will BJP learn to take a stand? This party of dissidents and indisciplined has never had a political strategy. Now they find themselves cornered as public opinion is moving in favor of the nuclear deal.

Upper caste hindus, who have traditionally been their vote banks, despite Advani's desperation to woo muslims, are favoring the nuclear deal with US. Even businesses want the nuclear deal to go ahead.

So, who is opposed? the Leftist and so BJP is put in the same camp as the leftists - the headless chickens.

It took them long to realise the political blunder that BJP is doing by opposing the nuclear deal. Congress has stolen BJP's economic strategy by hiring Manmohan Singh. Now BJP neither has a policy not a stand that they can call their own.
