For Anuj Sharma From Milind
by Milind on Aug 30, 2007 07:46 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I got this link via Vikipedia. This was a theory put forth by Mr.P.N.Oak who claimed that Taj Mahal is actually a Hindu temple called Tejo-Mahalaya. To my startling suprize, the top the Dome called Finalle is shaped like a Trishul. It also has leaves with a coconut in a vessel which is a typical Hindu custom. This theory was put way before the Sangh Parivar became popular. The pseudo-secularists thrashed his theory in Supreme court out of fear of hurting Muslim sentiments.

Note that this is a theory. Not necessarily a fact. Whether it is a fact or not is what we should debate. No abusive language from anyone please. Else I will not respond. Thanks.

Folks,

Why such arrogance ? Did I ever say destroy the Taj to find what is inside the hidden corridoors ?

Regarding undoing India, if that is what is required to reveal the truth, YES WE WILL. Truth ultimately prevails. We dont have to use violence to attain that.

Taj Mahal is a great architechtural and artistic construction. But it is made to be the symbol of love. Mumtaaz was the only one of the many wives of Shahajahan.

In his own court chronicle, Badshahnama,
Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai Singh for Mumtaz's burial.

The term "Mahal" has never been used for a building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan to Algeria. "The unusual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical in atleast two respects.

Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani," he writes. Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters 'Mum' from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name for the building."Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva's Palace . Oak also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists . Not a
single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story.

Furthermore, Oak cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan's era, and was a temple dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajpu

European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo, who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz's death), describes the life of the cit y in his memoirs. But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built. The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death, also suggest the
Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jahan's time.

P.N.Oak says the Wood used for the Door has age of around 400yrs which was 100yrs more than the Taj construction date. But dumbo doesn't know that that was the age of the Tree.

If he would have used the marble for aging, then be might have got atleast a Billion Year age for the Taj. In which case, Taj Mahal would have been a piece from Mars, built by Maritian Sanghi.

You are stuck with the top trishul symbol, but what about the whole Taj design??? PN Oak says it is a Shiv Temple, then show another Shiv Temple in the whole India which has the architecture that of Taj.

The Taj design-style can be easily seen in many regions of Mongols, and Central Asia where some Mughal culture has influence.

As I said, this is a theory which needs scrutiny. There are several points which deserve merit. For photos see http://www.stephen-knapp.com/was_the_taj_mahal_a_vedic_temple.htm

1. Trishul symbol on Top.
2. Cocunut leaves in a vessel. We use it in all Hindu pujas. Can you imagine a Muslim using that.
3. Music house next to a mosque ?
4. Inlaid pinnacle pattern in courtyard ?
5. Red lotus at apex of the entrance.
6. Typical Vedic style corridors.
7. A locked room on upper floor and ground floor. Why is it locked ?
8. Vedic design on ceiling of a locked room.
9. The OM in the flowers on the walls.
10. Palace in Barhanpur where Mumtaz died ?
