guns
by Gayatri Sharma on Aug 29, 2007 11:23 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

If Pak has 12 firarms per 100 people and India has 4 firearm per 100 people then how come India stands second in the count? and it also says USA is followed by Yamen with 61 guns per 100 people and Iraq has 39 per 100 people. I believe there is a big mistake who ever has come up with the numbers. Can anyone believe Iraq has 39 per 100 people. i think they would surpass USA big huge margins.

the inference is skewed.
india ranks second based on the total number of private lisenced guns.
how ever it is 4 per 100 due to the population.
so it is a classic example of articles with misleading titles. and a study without any relevence. If it is to be compared, you have to see the number of guns per 100 people.
