There is something really wrong with this survey. How do they claim that they could get an estimate of all the guns in a country. And that too India. If this is anything like the AIDS estimate these fellows are way off. And anyway, just because it is a group from Geneva it doesnt mean it has to be correct.

sri, legally in india, all firearms have to be registered and licenced. its much easier to know the figure. what is not clear here is that the number includes govt, and civilian or just civilian? i suppose these are all legal armaments they are talking about.
