Where is the source? How did they do the survey?In which part of the country they conducted this research? If they do consider UNISEF and WHO reports majority of the population in India struggle to earn decent money to feed their families regularly. These weapons are not that cheap, so you do the math. I lived in India 20 some years never came across a civilian family with guns. I heard about private armies and naxals and other organizations. But this report is way off.
