Police are generally successful in cracking the case AFTER it happens. Why can't they do it BEFORE something happens?

Because of Political pressure usually by Parties who cannot take risk of Muslim Vote.

POLICE IS MADE VILLAIN BY MEDIA, POLITICIANS. HOWEVER ITS PSUEDO MEDIA, POLITICIANS WHO ARE STUMBLING BLOCK AND PREVENTING ACTION AGAINST TERRORISTS.

right. like in gujarat many police officers are being harrassed by the congressi govt of nai dillee for acting in time as desss wishes.

Gujarat Oppn leader Mr. Modhvadia once taunted police that why do the carry out all anti-terrorist operations in the nights? This is what police face when they try to protect the citizens. In last 4 years Guj police has gunned down more than 15 terrorists plus some criminals.

You can not play with such simple rules while dealing with terrorists. Preamptive action plan is must. POTA can be instrumental in this direction.
