Mahasweta knows she got a lot of benefit from West Bengal Govt and possibly she cannt get any more. She is thus against the govt. What is happening in Nandigram is fight between two sides and both are die-hard. We need to wait to cool it down. Sending police or army will cause unnecessary things..they did a mistake not to allow to set up industry now let them die.

It is not only Mahasweta Devi wh9o only is accusing the Govt for all these,any intellectual with a little bit of brain would have done that.On one hand,someone will say "We are 235 and they are 30..who would stop us"...and continue building Factory at Singur,imposing illigal 144 ,no one can bring peace in this state.Why call all party meeting and try to enforce peace and be a hypocrite?If you have guts,fight with that 30 and capture your lost land.
