until police comes. When police came, the police man did his formality i.e chalan etc, then he said to talk with each other and come to the conclusion, if both the party agreed and admits the fault and ready to pay for it, you are not going to the jail etc. just repair the car and go home. But there will be a blacklisted mark on your identity, if you do such mistake three times, you will not be allowed to drive car in this country, still if you do, and u r caught, then you will face very bad consequence.
You cannot even thing to harm people with you words, this country is so strict that you will never thing to do inhuman activity if you are will and capable to do. The first thing which will come to ones mind is that "IF CAUGHT FINISH".
So what I mean to say is that why not we should also make such kind of law and order. And try for couple of years%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026..maut ka badla maut, hanth ke badla hant, ankhn ke badla ankhn etc. it sounds very rude, but it will be worth trying%u2026.(there will be some mistake also).

I see the merits of such a system. The deterrent is very high.
In India, however, "punishment" is seen as a means to reform a person rather than to primarily penalize him. Yes, there will be flaws, people who get away. However, it allows scope for people to start afresh all over again at some stage. You can't start afresh all over again with a chopped off hand or an eye lost.
Also, this won't stop terrorism. Terrorists are people who've already decided to kill themselves, or at least give up all comforts of life. When someone has taken up something as a cause he's going to spend his life for, he can't be deterred by any punishment.
