Critical Verdict
by Abhinav Sinha on Aug 24, 2007 02:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

In my opinion there are different ways to interpret Salman's verdict

1. He should be given jail sentence since killing of endangered species is against the law. However, the death sentence of 5 years is not acceptable as it seems harsh. It seems harsh compared to the fact that criminals and politicians get way with crime more dangerous

2. Journalists should not create a farcas about celebrity court hearings. Lot of attention can be given to decisions affecting broader population like energy security, rupee depriciation, global warming etc.

JAB TAK SURAJ CHAND RAHEGA.... SALMAN KHAN JAIL MAIN NAHI JAYEGA......... he is the most kind hearted person alive on earth.... infact Amitabh should tender an apology to Salman Khan for calling him on his son's wedding

Sallu ka sabse bada pankha = Gagan.

1. Now this I call maniac. We should in India control fans who act as maniacs. Agreed, Salman is an above average actor and kind hearted as well but we should not pardon him for his misdeeds. It will set a wrong precedent. 'EVRYONE IS EQUAL BEFORE LAW' whether he is the greatest actor born on earth (AB) or a kind hearted person (Salman)
2. Calling someone to a wedding or not is Mr. AB's personal decision. I did not call PM or President on my wedding. Should I tender an apology for that. What a nuisance

life of endangered species != 5 years imprisonment
but
life of endangered species > 5 years imprisonment

i accept other criminals and politicians gets away with crime more dangerous but it does not mean Salman should get away?????? 5 years of imprisonment is right.. he should be punished..
