nope, because USA was the greatest power since 1945 long before immigrants from the South ASia started arriving.

grwoth rate of the republic of india under nehruvian socialism/ussr alliance - 0.5%, 50% under poverty level.
growth rate under american/european free market capitalism - 9%, 26% under poverty level
