This would be a short respite. But I hope Supreme court will lessen the sentence to a year or 2. The fact he kept the gun for self defence purposes should be strongly considered while seeing magnitude and intention of the crime.
Blast victims would have unfortunately died anyways whether he asked for the gun or not so trying to link that to his aquiring gun is foolishness. Courts and police should spend more time on dangerous/real criminals rather then try to set examples and keep all gullible people happy.. Harsh sentencing for actors probably suits politicians well, it keeps naive people happy that rich and powerful are getting sentenced whereas real powerful criminal politicians gets away.
