Lets be practical.
India with its huge population of 1 Billion with 70% of them living below poverty line will not become No.1 in the next 200 years. Though the country will continue to grow and about 50% will have a decent living standard(owning a car) by 2050.

Left or Right, let no one trifle with America or its allies the European Union, Japan, South Korea & Taiwan, the combined economy of 30 trillion dollars/year which Russia & China is a pittance compared with.
Anyone who annoys America will be soon inhabiting mud-huts such as Cuba, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, North Korea.

It is better to be non-superpower and become free from Poverty. I am not telling that we will be free from poverty with this deal but atleast we can hope our rural people( some of them have not seen power at all in their villages ) and urban population get uninterrupted power as a result it improves our standard of living.
