yawn, aurangazeb, timur, babbar, ghazni, ghori, khilji were all much BIGGER Imperialists and slaughtered millions and demolished thousands of temples.
the only other option to "Imperialsm" is the MUD-HUT.
Left or Right, let no one trifle with America or its allies the European Union, Japan, South Korea & Taiwan, the combined economy of 30 trillion dollars/year which Russia & China is a pittance compared with.
Anyone who annoys America will be soon inhabiting mud-huts such as Cuba, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, North Korea.

Dear Mikkey, History was introduced by academicians as a subject into schools, the popular opinion being that humans would benefit by avoiding repetition of mistakes. Unfortunately it has mutated into a reference book for settling scores. If you do have an interest in it, you might have noticed that the graph of every empire is a sine curve, the wavelength and amplitude depends on how intelligent united and fair an empire has been after initial turmoil in formation. Thus every empire grew with united inputs(include warfare) of the masses, motivation being wealth, fame, comfort and power. Intelligence, wealth and fame is the easy part. 'Power' is the difficult aspect to control. Power corrupts the sane into insanity. Get back to the sine curve and check in history, empires that were intelligent, united and motivated, kept rising in amplitude and stretched the wavelength until power began corrupting. Thats when the peak is reached and the downslide begins. More the insanity, more the atrocities, more lack of justice more death and destruction, the faster the downslide. Thus history has short sine waves for Hitler's graph, longer ones for Egyptians, Romans, Greek(who united under Alexander to destroy the seige laying Persians). Point is America can sustain their glory only until power does not corrupt them into insanity, now that the 'commy' balance is missing. Question is how long will that be? Nothing is permanent. USA needs to be cautious or their glory will be short-lived.

If we do not get this deal we ll spend another 10 years in the dark without electricity till we have the technology to generate power by using Thorium. We still do not have the final tech to generate power through these Fast Breeder Reactors. We should take this deal to generate power and speed up the research on fast breeder reactors so that as soon as we have the production capabalities using thorium based technology we can just stop importing uranium. But right now we need Uranium based tech so that we get power and we are nt left behind and go back to the dark ages... and yah this deal is only civilian so no need to worry abt military nuclear instalations. n we are free to test nuclear weapons. the Hyde Act is just a cosmetic effect by the US government to shut the mouths of the Non proliferation hawks in washington who are opposing this deal tooth n nail... The US understand it has no leverage to stop India from testing weapons and it dosnt want to risk billions of dollars of investment by imposing nay sanctions. remember 1998 aftre the tests the imposed sanctions but had to bite the dust and remove sanctions after realizing it was their industries that were suffering.. so be cool and just use this deal to the maximum and do not let the commies Headless Chickens take India back to the dark ages.
