Re-call the diplomat!
by Gautam nil on Aug 23, 2007 04:37 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is Sen's intoxication of position and status that was responsible for such naked arrogance displayed by him towards even media persons as he claimed! He has got no business to call any one as "headless chicken"! Further, his blatant lie to deny his reported statement in personal capacity is merely a thought over "eye wash" and hence an attempt to escape from his expose of ego that has been now exposed by the affirmation of the reporter about his definite pronouncement. Perhaps, he has exposed himself by such unwarranted comments that depicted him as an "head less chick"!
Such arrogant person, enjoying all amenities and honours due to Indian Nation, should be cut to size to make him realize his real position as another human to honour every life with respect and regard, which is the ultimate purpose of education!
Perhaps, his tall education and vast experience haven't contributed adequately to arrive at a judicious decision by preferring to nuke energy than national security!

Good Views.
Is Sen a politician or Journalist assigned as India's Envoy to USA? Or is he an IFS (Govt Servant). If he is an IFS, disciplinary action may be taken by Govt under Govt Servant's conduct rules. The minimum is for the employee to call for his explanation and warn him. A more severe form of disciplinary acton is to charge sheet him and "censure" him which is the least formal punishment under the rules. If censured, his IFS career will be ruined, as his juniors could supercede him in service posts.

Apart from Govt taking action, Parliament can take action (if it is proved that the remarks were aimed at Parliamentarians and not journalists) by summoning him, hearing him and giving him one of the punishments which they are empowered to impose. But reading of Sen's remarks does not look that he referred to the members of parliament, but it looks that he was referring to journalists dishing for news items by running here and there. As there was no reference to MP's, they could have just ignored it and left the jounalists to face the brunt of the insulting remarks.

Mr. Moses Joseph, Sen is no more a govt. servant and hence C.C.S Rules will not aplly.
He never called parliamentarians as could be inferred from hios statement and also as claimed rightly.
So only way is to re call him as is the initiator of this dangerous agreeement!

Mr. Akash! Sen claims to have said about the media persons and not about politicians. Perhaps, you could not either read his staement correctly or could not understand what you read properly. But you want all others to be called "Headless Chicken"! Please don't compete to turn yourself a "headless chick"!

Headless Chicken - I was fortunate to see one.
Goes around directionless, It Cant see anything,
Wont hear anything, Wont eat anything,
and worst of all you cant kill it (chicken are normally killed by cutting at their necks.
It is nuisance value at it its best.

Commies - plenty of them around in small pockets of India called West Bengal & Kerala

Features are mentioned suit to the T.

Mr Ronen Sen being a Bong must known from close quarters to name them so aptly.

Mr. Karat if you have any sense of Self Respect you should dismantle this
Headless Chicken Party of India - Morons.

Though I don't belong to any party politics, it is amazing to note that people are not able to weigh which is important - National security or energy? U.S had been behaving in a manner most untrustworthy even in our India-Pak affairs by supplyng sophisticated arms and ammunitions to Pak and calling for peace in the region! Can we enter into an agreement with such a country, who can violate by force as they did in the past with more powerful nations? Let us all not turn "headless chicken"!

Hi, Bigindiacanvas. You seem to be knowing what "headless chicken" is.
I have seen these at the Mooe Market (Chennai) chicken shop area where they slaughter chicken, skin them and sell whole chicken meat. As soon as they cut the chicken's head, if they leave the bird, the headless bird runs around for quite some time before its life is extinguished and it falls dead. It is a sad sight. I am a vegetarian. I do not like the sight. It is sad to think of headless chicken running without aim. Perhaps, Mr. Ronen Sen has seen these in his childhood at West Bengal in his family yard.

gauuuuutam....left ki punchdi...stop whining like a baby ...what sen said was absolutely correct....our politicians need to wake up and start acting with some common sense...we need energy and nuclear energy is the only way we can solve this problem. All this non-sense about national security is to unnecessarily retard our progress ...apne pair pe khud kulhadi maarna.
