Why we need to go for the deal.
by Vishnu Sharma on Aug 24, 2007 01:15 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Here is more information on the thorium cycle.
http://www.cavendishscience.org/bks/nuc/thrupdat.htm

What we are lacking are safety measures for thorium reactor processing.

1) The INDO-US nuclear deal will allow scientists in both countries to interact and
progress research on thorium reactors also.

2) Once Thorium reactors become operational
we can export technology Thorium to US and Europe and get Foreign Exchange.

3) Till the time that thorium reactor takes off
we use Uranium till then.

So either way we have a win-win situation.

People like Medha who only know how to sleep 23 hours a day and pretend to starve will not allow this. I have never seen Medha doing an hours worth of work. (Work-shy anti-nationals)
Same goes with other people who authored this silly article.
They are a burden on our society.

Most of the pro-capitalist, so called anti-pseudo secularist, saviour of india(India of the rich, affluent, upper middleclass urbanites who only knows to slang the communist as commies) are mostly boring. If they are so correct why do they fear open debate with real facts(not imaginative or purposefully created ones) with anti deal group ? I am nt against the deal but I am ready to hear who speaks logically. If communist become traitor for their so called proximity to China then why nt cong, bjp for their so called proximity to us ? There are good and bad things to learn from each country, be it china or us. Even the pro deal group has some points bt cant they speak w/o targetting groups. They seems to be less bothered abt the main issue that communist have raised i.e the deal and its meaning. They are more bothered abt communist bashing. We lose our temper when we feel we have nothing substansive to talk. At least they should learn it from USA, the country which debated the deal openly for and year. Why do we need to rush so much to sign it blindly ? Whom do we want to please ? Ask a Mexican, Brazilian who followed US dictate, they will advise you to stop. USA is nt bad but we cant say YES to everything it says.
