Off Record or on record, Rediff should have been discreet about it. If you can't think of the repercussions, then you don't deserve the freedom of press. Rediff should have got the facts clarified.

I endorse completely. Rediff had valued sensationalism more than sensibility and failed to exercise proper discretion and should have considered the greater intetrest of the nationin reporting.
