I'm puzzled my self and deeply hurt with BJP's dilemma in the whole mess. First i question my self and answered that it is NDA government that has started building the chemistry with US. Chandra babu naidu while he was chief minister of Andrapradesh, relentlessly tried to get the investment from US and been successful too. Today BJP is asking CPM to join them for a floor test again Nuclear deal. Telugu Desam Party with the leadership of Naidu has released their stand that they will vote against the deal with Nuclear deal. What a pity. Both are doing for their political survival, the first one is dancing as their political opponents are fighiting with each other and the later one is carried by the political compulsions to woo the minority votes. Can any one answer me that is there any leader in Congress party other than Manmohan singh has wisdom to bring the deal to a shape? I dont think any one has that. On the other hand i thought in BJP there are many big thinkers and it is truly national party that work in the interests of the nations. And in fact my assumptions have become solid after the seeing the cooperation that BJP has extended to PVN Rao minority government to strongly push the reforms and giving a great U turn to the indian economy, GDP, standard of living etc. Even many of us remember that AB vajpayee has been send as the envoy to UN to renounce the India's stand again the motion that is proposed by Pak's representation. And i wish the BJP/NDA thinker will put as

issue-based supporting by political parties is a good sign and democratic...political parties may beg to differ on trivial domestic issues, again done in a harm-less way...but a total aggreement on strategic matters is a MUST...foreign policy is not simply buying/ alluring handful of policy-makers...India should learn to say \"NO\"...agree on some and disagree on some...perfectly natural and normal behavior...as much possible interface with world though world bodies and forums...unless strong domestic/historical/bilateral compulsions forces otherwise...

Srihari,
Its not about opposing the deal for the sake of opposing. There are contrary statements from MMS and US regarding the deal. The basic point is we can't go for nuclear tests in future though we have a provision because doing so nullifies the deal and the nuclear reactors and the money invested in them goes waste. So to save that India can't go for nuclear tests. Now is that acceptable to a nation which is having threat from Pakistan and China.
And for those who try to label me a pro-communists, let me clarify, I am against the communists and the congress too.
But what is being pointed out Left has to be answered by Congress, after all they are in live-in relationship.
