That's totally foolish argument. Don't France and Russia oppose US in UN? Do the people of these countires live in hut. Don't mix business with polictics. CUBA, SYRIA ..etc., they are poor in business and live in huts. They are not poor nations because they oppose US. Then France and Russia too would have been poor.

Russian and France have quite good scientfic and research establishments and dont import much technology. They are net exporters of technology.
