Iam from Kerala and a muslim. I have seen the festivities of mumbai and pune. Kerala also has celebrate vinayaka chathurti in gaity. kottarakara ganapathi and pazhavangadi ganapathi are famous and heard that the devotees prayers are heard.

So nice Abdul. Can u give some more info on Ganpati Festival in Kerala? It will be enlightening to know how people hail Ganpati everywhere. Because Ganpati is not the Preserve of a Particular Class/ Caste/ Province nor is he a God.
Well, I am not a Hot - Shot Intellectual but what I do know is that he is an Ideal who represents Vidya (Knowledge), Buddhi (Intellect), Pradnya (Potential). There is a post here which says he is a Funny Character. That will be most degrading for an Individual who represents all the 18 Vidyas (Knowledge) & 64 Kalas (Arts). His Elephant - Head is not been placed for Fun but Symbolises vast Intellect (like an Elephant).
O Ganpati, Bless All Your Devotees Equally - Big Or Small, Rich Or Poor, Privileged Or Deprived...
