The view of the author is harsh on the left. When we lean too much towards the West, the left act as counterbalance. India need to be strong to be friends with China. So we need allies like Russia, US, Japan, Australia etc. The author's expression of fear of Muslim backlash is unwarranted. It is economy that dictates the tide of human sentiments. It is the petrodollar that attracts the attention of the world. Once the petrol dries up, the gulf will be past memory. Marxists get inspiration from China. To blame them as unpatriotic is injustice. May be they want to drive with one leg pressed on the brake.

Is capitalism Indian concept? Isnt anti marxists are propogating western values, agendas. Philosopies cant be a product one country alone. Then supporting capitalism is as good as supporting the British, the race that expolited us for 200 years. If we blame communist we should blame others as well. The point is that no one philosophy is perfect. Communists, Hindutavabadi BJP or nondemocratic,family ruled party like Cong all are same. The point is the treaty, we should discuss it threadbare not commies, bjps, congs etc. Nt which political party is good or bad. The author of course is nt w/o his personal bias and quite evident whom he is supporting.

What do you have to say about silence of these traitor leftists on 1962 war? Why they were silent when visa to two IAS officers from Arunachal Pradesh were denied on the premise of their being chinese citizens? Take a note that as 1/3rd of Jammu and kashmir and as Tibet was occupied by China to pursue its monopolistic attitude, one day they would eye for other disputed areas also, which they claim as their own. Don't you people see to that.
