Communists want their ideology to win and dont care whether its thru China or India...
So if India loses and China wins, they would be happy....
On the other hand, i admit we cant rely on US....US always acts on its own interests...If they willingly favour India, it should be indirectly or directly benefitting them...In my opinion it is not a problem (atleast for us) When dealing with US, we also should be oppurtunistic as like them...As someone has written earlier here, simply USE America,instead of debating whether US is a friend or Foe.
The shameless communists cite that India would have to oppose Iran if the deal gets thru...Stupid Communists, first worry about India then think about Iran/Iraq/China

yOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.WE SHOULD LOOK ABOUT OUR OWN INTERESTS FIRST. FORGET ABOUT USA,JUST RECALL THAT THE AMERICANS ARE ALSO ALLOWING THE REST OF THE nUCLEAR SUPPLIER GROUP TO SUPPLY TO US.WE CAN BUY FROM RUSSIA,FRANCE,BRITAIN AUST ETC.THE US JUST WANTS A BIG SHARE OF THE BUSINESS THAT INDIA WILL GENERATE.WHY COMMUNISTS ARE PUSHING THE CHINESE AGENDA ONLY THEY KNOW THE BEST AND THEY ARE CALLING THE PM A TRAITOR

BJP opposes because they are opposition party now.....Can you name a single point on which both the ruling and opposition parties came united....never...in India, opposition parties think they have to oppose anything done by the ruling party...
If BJP would have been the ruling party, i bet you they would have signed the deal long back and offcourse Congress would have opposed.. Differences between these two parties is not on the deal, but on who is doing it...
