IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ANNOY THE UNITED STATES AND ITS ALLIES THE EUROPEAN UNION, JAPAN & SOUTH KOREA WITHOUT VERY SERIOUS ECONOMIC REPURCUSSIONS.
THE 1ST NUCLEAR REACTOR AT TARAPUR - DONATED BY AMERICA
THE TEJJAS & DHRUVV HELICOPTER - RUNNING ON AMERICAN ENGINES
AMERICA THE LARGEST INVESTOR IN INDIA
AMERICA THE LARGEST OUTSOURCER TO INDIA
AMERICA IS THE LARGEST AID DONOR TO INDIA
GREATEST NUMBER OF INDIANS LIVING ABROAD - AMERICA
GREATEST NUMBER OF STUDENTS FROM INDIA STUDYING ABROAD - AMERICA
WILL ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT SENSES RISK ANNOYING THE USA & ITS ALLIES FOR PLEASING A BUNCH OF RIFF-RAFF COMMUNISTS BACKED BY JEHADI FUNDAMENTALISTS, INHABITING MUD-HUTS IN CALCUTTA ?
RUSSIA IS FINISHED ECONOMICALLY AND DEPENDS ON THE USA, EUROPE & JAPAN FOR INVESTMENTS TO KEEP ITS ECONOMY AFLOAT. AND NO ONE GETS ANY USEFUL BENEFITS FROM CHINA - JUST HUGE LOAD OF CHEAP PLASTIC TOYS DUMPED IN THE MARKET PLUS RISK OF SNATCHING OF TERRITORY SUCH AS TIBET WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

Mikey continue dreaming, maximum no. of Indians fired in one day is in US, during dotcom bust. Indians are clubbed with Pakis,Arabs and are known as Asians. The nuke deal is a drama, they could have straightaway signed NPT, then could have got fuel from anybody.

I fully agree with you. Look at possible reactions with the international community if India conducts a nuclear test again even without the existence of 123 agreement. The commies are misleading yhe nation raising this issue. Actually they should be worried about where the nuclear cooperation will take india on strategic foreign policy matters. For example if India does not act according to the wishes of americans on matters like Iran, americans could put hurdles to the supply of muclear materials. We may not have any option but to heed to americans because by that time India would have invested billions on nuclear energy. We need to ensure that americans would not blackmail us on foreign policy matters, and should not be worried about losing the chance to test nuclear weapons again. We just can not afford another nuclear test.

If you have no idea about the good deeds done by the liberalisation guru Dr. Manmohan Singh just keep shut and dont parade your ignorance. Dr. Singh joined the cabinet out of love for the country after his retirement and doing a great job of increasing the wealth of all the citizens yes not everybody because of people like you putting up roadblocks along the way of devolpment. The Commies just want to make the rich poorer and the poor to remain as they are instead of uplifting the poor. The BJP justs wants to oppose just because they are in oppostion BJP please grow and become mature just dont remain rabble rousers forever. PLEASE LETS ALL INDIANS SUPPORT THE CAUSES WHICH ARE GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY AND OPPOSE ONLY THE WRONG CAUSES.

How can u say that? India's foreign policy can never be compromised by the deal.. What the Hyde acts says that if any country does nuclear tests US will stop supporting nuclear supplies.. What's wrong with that?
India has the right to conduct nuclear tests and if we feel that we need to do it, we will do it.. Its not going to stop us from going nuclear. In the worst case nuclear supplies will be stopped and in the best case, we have the nuclear energy at our doorsteps...

It is as good as saying we won't do any nuclear tests once the deal is through. Why should we not have a deal with the US on the same terms as China has with the US?

Nuclear energy is at our doorsteps even without deal. But once this deal is OFF, we need to return all the raw-material, spare-parts, technical know-how back to USA. This is enormous expenditure. So practically we are forced to not to do any tests in future by financial hinderance.

there are enough checks to deter the Americans from calling off the deal unilaterally at the drop of a hat. The US will have to compensate for the financial hinderances.
