So, you are mentioning Taslima as "controversial Bangladeshi writer" just because she said something against Islam. Why can't we say all those so called "secular" people controversial because they always get great pleasure by defaming Hinduism?????

Why should she be called anything...Just call her a writer as here writings are a point of discussion/contention. It is not her nationality or her religion.
She is giving her experience...so be it...let het do that...There is nothing un-islamic about that...But if she is connecting her experience with Islam as a whole, that is her mis-fortune and ignorance. But she has a right to free speech.
