necessity of india-us nuclear deal
by prashant adhav on Aug 18, 2007 09:11 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

this deal is going to help us in energy which is the highest requirement if economy has to run at 10% the jobs created would be able to solve our unemployment problems.if one thinks INDIA is bargaining its security its nonsense because money earned after effect of this deal can be used for our defence, research why think of nuclear deterrent think of economic deterrent let us first be strong enough to have our own air defence system, tanks, and naval fleet that is indigeneously built.all this thing need huge money and this can be achieved only by strong economic growth thus need of energy thus need of this nuclear deal
people talk of corruption why since we dont have the right to do so because if all literate voters have voted without thinking of religion, caste, language but only according to character of candidate today INDIA would have been much powerful that even we could have thought lets not make this mistake again now vote only to the best candidate.
this deal is going to benefit us in long way and help in solve our power problems. be united in supporting this deal on all platforms let your voice go to parliament.

you are a fool and hardly understand the complexity of the situation. With malicious intents you are unnecessarily trying to put question marks on the integrity of a PM who has an unblemished record and has always kept the nation above the petty politics. if you cant see that i can only say that you are sick. people like you also made a lot of hue and cry when Manmohan had opened the economy in 1991. Every one opposed it but the mans vision has trandformed into a reality today and helping is millions of indians to move ahead in life. The deal is clearly beneficial for India more than the US. It will help us in generating enough power to meet the needs of the power hungry economy, it will help us leapfrog into latest nuclear technology which other wise on our own would take donkeys years to develop. It will open up the entire NSG market for us. We can in any case conduct test in future and the US will put sanctions which they will any ways do whether an agreement is there or not. I can go on and on on this but I think i would just be wasting my time for people like you.

In today's world, free and sovereign nations are also interdependent by way of trade, commerce, treaties and international obligations. However, the choice is ours. If you are right, we should not import any technology as that makes us dependent on others. We can choose the path of complete self-sufficiency, just like North Korea.
