Those who are praising the agreement , it appears have not read the agreement even once.
How will we push back once we solely depend on american nuke supply ?
Under no circusmatnces we can take stand against america and we will become puppet country to USA like paksitan was in 1970s

You do not solely have to depend on the U.S. There are other suppliers of nuclear reactors including France and Russia. This agreement will open the doors to nuclear co-operation with several countries.

Why will that make us a puppet of the U.S.?

It is fine that u get Uranium supplies from Russia but what about maintenance and parts?
Presently only US can supply to its equipment supplied to us. Even Europe - France &UK under US influence will not service them.

India can deal with Australia. This is their first reaction and we may see some more wild reactions in days to come. These will be resolved after all nuclear fuel is a big business and Australia also needs business.

An agreement or a deal is basically a win win situation. It must be noted that with economic strides that India has taken and the intellectual power that we have , Indiawas all through in a driving seat and my congratulation to the team of negotiators and Dr Manmohan Singh for getting the best inthe situation. If we see it in totality India stands to gain. Even BJP and Left have not been able to say a word against the deal. Their worry is that our foreign policy will be affected and influenced by America.

Let us not be under the illusion that our foreign policy is non aligned. It was either anti America and now pro America and there is no harm in doing so if it suits us.
