Can anybody direct to the link where the cost competitiveness of the power generated by Nuclear energhy is listed? Particularly how much India is going to invest to generate what amount of power and at what cost we shall getting that power per unit?

The power per unit will be easily more than Rs 10, in other words we can't afford it. The problem with nuclear power plants is that they are difficult to construct, they are expensive, they need high security, plus there is need for waste treatment facility and last but not the least it has a life of 40-60 years and the cost of dismantling the plant alone works out to be $300 million, which has to be again added as a fixed cost.

Yes I know that. Putting up the plant would be easy because of the deal but operative cost will run very high for atleast 25 to 50 years. On the other hand maintainance, and waste disposal will be a biggest headache. Our industries and govt fail to protect people from even simple pollution like pesticides or refinery waste then how will our govt tackle the disposal of large amount of nuclear waste? India has already 14 reactors.
