Is PM misleading the country? How can we have two interpretations of the same agreement? India can not say they will not test in the future. It is a well known fact that our thermo reactor had given far less output than the estimated one during the Pokaran II testing. For a tactical bomb we need to master this bomb and how do you prove that - Only through actual blast. Simulation might give an idea but will never be a proof. No engineer will be happy till they get actual results. Is the PM and other members of his team aware of this significant point? If they are, then should think again and discuss with all the stake holders (political parties, scientists, security analysts, defence experts etc.). We might still take a decision to go ahead with the deal as that might be far more useful than scrapping it. But there should be a dialogue of all stake holders. Why is PM running away from a debate. I suggest that there should a closed debate and it need not be discussed in public as it is happening now. For a country that wants to be in high league, we need to evolve mechanisms to get to a national consensus .

I fully agree with you Mr. Swamy. Why not this PM place the agreement on table and then discuss?

Two opposite interpretations, either the PM is fooling USA, (in that case the deal will be cancelled by USA), or the PM is fooling the country, again people should ensure that the deal is scrapped.
