What kind of idiotic questions are that?

Q. my friends say that people from orissa are little backwars

b. The people are not backwards, the state is poorer than other states.

Q and why is their accent so different

b. Only God can answer this question of yours

Q. cant they say 'sh'

b. Is this a trick question or a derisive one?

Q. what are their food habits.

b. More rice consumers like the rest of East and South.

Q. are 'swain' community a BC or SC

b. You should not be asking such questions. But to confirm, Swains are neither BC or SC

Do a little google search to know about Orissa

Still you could have put your question in a naive manner. This is defenetly provacative, even though you may not have intended to. I am also a south indian, and can understand the influence of local dialect when speaking in English. The fluency of a Mallu is different from a tamil and so on. Even Telugu has its own accent and that is carried into when they speak in English.

So its nothing wrong, and you may correct if you are good in accents...! Noone stops u doing that...! And may be feel proud of it too!
