Why do we HAVE to sign a deal with the US to have Nuclear trade with other countries??? Countries like Russia who are already into this trade with us? Dont understand why is US so important?

Russia has no creditable Nuclear technology, which India can take from them.

After Chenobyl accedents / thousands dead, Russia is yet to establish themselves.
