Instead of targetting Sonia Gandhi every now and then,the BJP should work hard targetting the 2009 Loksabha election. They should project Sushri Sushma Swaraj as the PM candiate right from Now. The congress will loose like anything. But the real question is does BJP has the guts to project a woman as a PM candidate? Moreover will the wooden logs BJP ever tolerate a woman from their party ruling over them?. Sushma Swaraj is the most capable person for the post. She also has good oratory,knowledge of national and international level issue. She also has a very good image as a house wife that wud really have an impact on voters. Its really pitty to see Hema Malini and Smriti Irani alongwith Sushma Swaraj.These bollywood babes can't be a match for Sushmaji.

And you of course remember that Sushma Swaraj wa trounced ( barely able to save her deposit) in a direct fight in the Bellary Lok Sabha constituency in 1999.

Aadi Manav, I agree with you Sushma Swaraj is the best candidate for PM position in BJP. I don't agree that BJP does not want Sushma as PM because she is a lady. There may be opposition within BJP - that is because of selfish leaders there and not because they don't want a lady. Moreover, I don't know why who seem to have so much respect for Sushma does not respect Hama Malini or Smriti. I believ both these ladies have strong personalities and are intellectuals - they are well read, well mannered. They are as Good as Sushma except for political savviness. Any way, all this discussion is futile because BJP is a spent force. Its real strong voter base is very limited. Even if it comes to power, it will be another congress interms of corruption. Only difference would be they may lean more tpwards Hindus just like Congress is leaning towards Muslims. But they will be corrupt anyway. Corruption is a constant factor whether it is BJP or Congress. That is because of our mentality of worshipping wealth -no matter what its origin is. Absolute Chaltha-hai attitude abt corruption
