sonia gandhi wants to cut India hands in favor of western countries as she also belongs to the same place.

India should not sign any treaty with US as US never ever wants to see India or any other country superior than itself.

our leaders should take the actions in favor of our country whatever may be results.

Ok mister,If we will not sign this agreement then ,can we will be superior than US.

Just think for Strong india,we can do lot of work from Uranium,think we will be having usa type of tools for redioactivity.And what will india gain from just nuclear weapon.

I do agree with left's stand but totally disagree with the reason why they do so (I believe they themselves don%u2019t know why apart from opposing America) . In the recent CCN debate among democratic candidates in the US Presidential election, non of the leading candidates are for opening more Nuclear power reactors for the fear of handling the waste from these plants. They do not know what to do with them.

For the same reason, I think we should not pursue further on the Nuclear power as an alternate to the power resource and look for something else. If the country is so torn in deciding what we want, why don%u2019t we have an election commission conduct an election on this and let people decide.
