what should the left do
by rahul sinha on Aug 13, 2007 03:12 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Reading all the previous messages gives me an impression that all of you are bent on proving that the left are antinationals.I would like to differ.Have anyone of you read the 123 deal document?I am not going to elaborate on it except the fact that it clearly demands India not to take any foreign polcy decision that is incongruent to US interests.I would like to know whether friendship with uncle Sam is more important than retaining our decade old tradion of nonalignment and sovereignty? After 60 years of independece this deal threatens us of a new colonial subjugation.I beieve no deal is more important than our selfrespect as an independent nation and the left is right in opposing it .Rahul, Agartala, Tripura

NONSENSE, THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA WAS NEVER NEUTRAL. THE FAKE NAM MOVEMENT WAS A SOVIET PUPPET. ALL THE NAM MEMBERS HAVE 100% MILITARY HARDWARE OF SOVIET SUPPLY.

Hello Mr.,
I read the deal documents. Your "elaboration" is totally wrong. Even India will get more freedom than the present members of the NSG.

You communists and communist supporters are stubborn. You cannot see anything beyond 5 years.

You will not lose your virginity as you seemed to be afraid of if the bill is passed in both India and US.
