The present day leftists(so called) have no definite ideology to boast off. They are doing something in their ruling states and speaking someting different in other places. They are a bigger opportunists, enjoying the power at the centre and at the same time fooling the public through their invalid oppositions as a mask. If they are so serious and knowing well that their support to the govt.is crucial, let them withdraw support if they believe that their argument is right. PM is right in challenging them, knowing fully well the predicament of the Left. If without the 123 Agreement, can India move forward and achieve its goals in nuclear technology? Or is it that Left wants India to continue with its slow progress?

I do not want to comment on the Lefts' opposition to the nuclear deal with US. But, they are far far better, partiotic etc than the Regional parties of Tamil Nadu.

Such a ridiculous and irrelevant reply. You must be living in the ages of early 50s where the REAL communists existed in India. I'm not a fan of these 'Regional Parties' in Tamil Nadu. But let me tell you one thing, Anna Durai (founder of DMK) denounced separtisam and joined mainstream when China invaded India, where as the whole country knew that Majority of the Comic Communists supported China in the war. And these 'Modern Day Progressive' Communists still support China. Why did they keep mum when the Chinese Minister claimed Arunachal as a Chinese Province? These communists slaves are patriotic, I agree. But their Patriotism is towards their Master China and not their Fatherland India.
