In any International deal of this kind hard bargaining is done by both the involved countries, which was done this time too.Like in Indian Democracy, in American Demcracy too similar reactions are noticeable as in our Parliament.Every body knows that an agrement on such a sensitive issue as the present one takes years of hard negotiations and has indeed taken two years this time.Do we then doubt the integrity of our negotiators and their American Indian supporters that we raise such a hue and cry?It does not behive one to do so.However if the opposition to the deal is finally ment to caution the Government about possible adverse effects, and not to negate the deal then it should be aptly heard by the government to be able to take necessary precautions before putting the deal in action.
